Dear Beverly,

Until this from you, which Anna Marie forwarded because she knows my issues,
I had no idea you were dealing with all of this. I, too, am hyper-sensitive, to environmental allergens of all kinds, and, emotionally. For the past three years,
I have been having nosebleeds, that grew progressively worse over time, and
more frequent…3 and 4 a day. they happened spontaneously, anywhere, unexpectedly, and were ‘gushers’.
In the past, I took allergy shots for 20 years but when i first moved to whidbey,
did not need them…until all the bleeding began…people’s perfumes, going into a
store in the cleansers aisle, etc., etc., I began to feel like a freak, and wondered
why I was not ‘normal’? there are no doubts in my mind now as to the why’s
of my problem.
While living in Hawaii, of all places, people think nothing of using Roundup on
weeds along the roadside, on their driveways, (even my husband) – he doesn’t
‘get’ it..and thinks i’m neurotic…a complainer.
In Hawaii, the diversified agriculture that is being grown, are crops (in particular)
papayas, that are being genetically modified.

You are so right..for a long time the U.S. allows products to be introduced on
the market that are totally unsafe for human use in any way….all for the sake
of money.

Beverly,
I have also suffered from chemical sensitivities although, as I read of your suffering, I realize I’ve been extremely fortunate. Although my sensitivities were severe, I could still be out in the world with less fear than you’ve experienced.

Anyway, I know you’ve been to so many doctors and other health practitioners that you’re sick of it all, but I want you to know of Dr. Butch Schrader in Santa Fe and Dr. David Buscher in Redmond, WA. Butch brought this 40+ year old treatment to the US from Europe around 15 years ago; it’s called Ultra Low Dose Enzyme Activated Immunotherapy. (There are also other doctors in the US who’ve begun this protocol.) I’ve been on it for over a decade and I am so much healthier, really almost “normal.” (Yes, I’ve been through that.) Dear Beverly, God I am so sorry, I had no idea that you were going through this.The exasperation must have moments of unbearableness even amidst finding equilibrium and understanding. Your passionate expression through music and food have changed people, perhaps this is one more way that you will have an ongoing effect on this planet. I wish that it be done with as little suffering as possible for you….This is an issue that has become so prevalent and is done in so many ways just because the products are available, people have false comfort in their supposed safety….

Rocks are the gems for us common folk that cant afford rubys and emeralds and such. More so they are the the keepers of the Earths past energys and sort of a safety deposite of healing and calming energy. I LOVE ROCKS! I am bringing a few of my facorites to share with you. I lived in Alaska for 3 years in Skagway which is at the base of White Pass and the home of the Last Narrow Gage railroad still opperating in the US. Also up in Whit Pass there is a form of crystals that ONLY can be found there, If you ever get a chance to go to Alaska then you must go to white pass and get some of the rocks there…….they are extrordinary rocks well worth seeking. I look forward to meeting you!

I think Ken is very lucky to have you…we all are lucky to have you. Ken might fix the well, use the tractor, work on the computers…(by no means am I minimalizing what he does) But Beverly you keep us “centered” spiritully filled and our hearts on “open” all the time.

I realized something recently. Through the pain and anger of losing a loved one….I realized that there is nothing worse in the world than when we stop talking, when we stop listening. How did we learn to so easily dismiss each other? Why do we allow our own judgements or opinions to get in the way of what really truly matters…..each and every one of us. I open myself to change, change in me and change in others. I will spend every day of my life if I have to making sure that Nathan keeps talking and listening. Change starts with me and I have this new understanding of communication that I must share. I can’t get back the relationship that I never got to have with my Aunt but I can have the intention in my life to not allow other relationships to fall away. Thank you Beverly for everything you have shown me, taught me and will continue to teach me. You mean more to me than I can possibly tell you! No matter how far away you travel you are always right here in my heart!!
